SBC Museum Redlands Old West Days: Great for Kids

Simone Graham – Editor: Celebrate the rich, diverse history of the old west, San Bernardino County style. The event takes place at the SBC Museum on 2014 Orange Tree Lane in Redlands on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Churn butter, create quilt squares, make 1800’s toys, get close with mini horses and sheep, pan for gold and more! All included with regular museum admission.

Adult: $10
Senior (60 or over) & active Military: $8
Student (with I.D.): $7
Child 5 through 12 – $5
Child under 5: free
Museums For All participants with EBT Card: $1 (maximum 9 in party)
Museum Members: free

Black Voice Foundation: Talk and Tour of the “Footsteps to You: Chattel Slavery” by Hardy Brown II, 1:00 p.m. both days.

Calico Ghost Town: Demo on How to extract silver from rock!

Big Bear Historical Society: Sluice box gold panning.

Mission Inn Museum: Old time sepia-toned photographs of visitors with 1800s garments/dress.

San Bernardino Historical and Pioneer Society: Re-enactors will demo rope making, quilting, and blacksmithing.
