Elsinore Super Bloom Update

LAKE ELSINORE, CA – City Hall: This weekend, we will execute the same plan as last weekend and road closures will be put in place to accommodate the shuttles and prevent gridlock.

Road closures will be from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and include: Lake St. Northbound, Nichols Rd. Eastbound, Nichols Exits on I-15 are for visitors only, El Toro Road and Lake Street On/Off Ramps.

Like last week, Lake Street SB from Temescal Canyon Road will be open. See attached maps for recommended detours. And, residents, please try to avoid the area if you can.

Also, visitors, it is going to be HOTTER this weekend. This is a natural trail. There is little to no shade and nowhere to sit down. This weekend, access to the trail will ONLY be via the shuttle service. NO UBER or LYFT access will be allowed. Remember to dress for the weather and bring sunscreen and water. This is NOT a bus tour. The hike is difficult and not recommended for this with a health condition.

Shuttle service is $10 per person, 3 and under are free. Two lots will once again be open for parking. Wait times will likely reach up to 2 hours for the shuttle particularly during peak hours of 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
