Earth Day 2019

Simone Graham – Editor: During the month of April, our High Desert cities have been observing Earth Day with Community Clean Up days, tire recycling, and e-waste recycling. Earth Day is April 22 and though most of the local and Inland Empire events have passed there are still a few near us. If you want to get out for a day trip and do some volunteering or participate in festivities out of the HD, there are still several left in the SoCal area. Also, the San Bernardino Transit Authority is offering free bus rides next week to promote public transit See HDG Facebook post 4/19). A fitting event to help preserve our planet.
