We live in Hesperia, does it matter what city my dog gets licensed in?

Good question. Yes, it does matter. “Animals can be licensed at the Hesperia Animal Shelter during regular business hours. Fees are as follows: Unaltered dog: $70 for one year; $130 for two years; $200 for three years. Altered dog: $13 for one year; $24 for two years; $33 for three years.” If your rabies shot is good for one year, you pay for a one year license. If the vaccination is not due for two or three years from now, they give you a bit of a price break. On SBC county land? Then go to the county public health facility desk on Bear Valley Road for your license.
