Memorial Day Event At SBC Fair Grounds/Get Tickets By May 23

Victorville, Calif. – Get the kid’s picture taken in a Black Hawk helicopter and take home photos of the the Color Guard and Cavalry Regiment! Join in Monday, May 27th, 2019 at the San Bernardino County Fair Grandstands for its 3rd annual Memorial Day Event ceremony. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m.

The POW/MIA table will be organized by the Air Force Color Guard from March Air Reserve Base. The Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard from the Marine Corps Logistics Base will present the Colors,  the 11th Armored Cavalry Commander from NTC Ft Irwin will be speaking, and the Cavalry from NTC Ft Irwin will close the event performing maneuvers. Gold Star Families will also be recognized during the ceremony. Before and after the event a Black Hawk helicopter will be available to tour thanks to the Los Alamitos Army National Guard.

The intent of the event is to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country and to stand with the families who have lost a loved one in the military. On this day, all military members whether they are currently serving or have served honorably, will have free admission and parking into the Fair just by showing their IDs. Military members can find tickets for their families at Sign in or create an account and then look up San Bernardino County Fair Memorial Day Event. Ticket quantities are limited and will only be available until May 23rd, 2019.
