Community Invited Today/This Week For Input On Park Plan Grant

HESPERIA, Calif. – The Hesperia Recreation and Park District is applying for a Proposition 68 – Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program grant in hopes of obtaining funds to develop currently undeveloped space at Lime Street Park for the community. The District will host series of community input meetings to gather feedback on recreational amenities the community would like to see added to Lime Street Park. Community input meetings will be held at the following locations on the following dates and times:

Wednesday, July 10th at 2:30 pm, Lime Street Community Center, 16292 Lime Street, Hesperia
Thursday, July 11th at 6:00 pm Lime Street Community Center, 16292 Lime Street, Hesperia
Friday, July 12th at 8:00 am Percy Bakker Center South Room, 9333 ‘E’ Avenue, Hesperia
Sunday, July 14th at 4:00 pm Hesperia Civic Plaza Park, Park Booth, 15833 Smoke Tree, Hesperia

Light refreshments will be available to all in attendance. Residents are strongly encouraged to come share their thoughts on the expansion of Lime Street Park and let their voices be heard.
