36th Annual National Night Out/Apple Valley, Hesperia, Victorville

SAN BERNARDINO CO., Calif. – Supervisor Lovingood: Residents around San Bernardino County will come together on the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 6, for the 36th annual National Night Out.

National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Local National Night Out events include:

Apple Valley, 5-8 p.m., Apple Valley Commons, 20288 Highway 18 – Come out for a night of fun, giveaways, free hot dogs, kids finger-printing and more. And get up close to fire engines and police cars, and meet your local public safety officers!
Barstow, 6-9 p.m. Dana Park, 841 Barstow Road
Hesperia, 5-8 p.m. Civic Plaza Park, 15833 Smoke Tree – Featuring safety vehicle tours, face painting, bounce houses, music, vendors and so much more!
Silver Lakes, 5-8 p.m. on North Beach
Victorville, 5-8 p.m., Victorville City Hall, 14343 Civic Drive. – The community is invited to join the Victorville Police Department for an evening of fun, food, vendors, and valuable information to keep your family and home safe.
Yermo, 6-9 p.m. Yermo Community Center, 38315 McCormick St.
